some Indian sandstone paving

Paving

This paving was constructed using ethically sourced Indian sandstone. If you are intending to use this material on your patio or other paved area it is extremely important that you either check its provenance with your supplier, or make sure that the landscaper you have chosen has done so. Alternatively, simply get in touch with us via our contacts page and we will advise you.

Paving comes in a great variety of colours, shapes and sizes. It can be made from natural materials like granite and limestone (such as the Yorkstone paving in the image on the left), or man-made materials like concrete.

basic concrete paving

Concrete slabs range from the very basic (as in the image on the right) to those which do a fairly good job of imitating natural stone. On the whole they are cheaper than most types of natural stone paving. They are manufactured in slabs of a uniform thickness which makes them quicker to lay than natural stone where slab thickness can vary greatly. If you are not sure which type is right for you we will be happy to help.
